Some fans of the "Call of Duty" franchise are awaiting the release of the sequel of the hit first-person shooter gaming title released way back in 2019 called the "Modern Warfare."
It comes as both Activision and Infinity Ward have already confirmed that a sequel, the "Modern Warfare 2," is coming out sometime this year or in 2022, as per a news story by Gaming Intel.
On top of that, the "Call of Duty" franchise is getting more this year with the upcoming release of the battle royale gaming title, "Warzone 2," as well.
A reputable leaker is now saying that the reveal date of the "Modern Warfare 2" is already nearing with only a few weeks left before the potential big day for the "CoD" franchise.
'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2' Reveal Date
According to a recent report by Dexerto, the known "Call of Duty" leaker that goes by the name RalphValve suggested a potential reveal date of the "Modern Warfare" sequel.
The news outlet noted that there have been earlier signs which suggest that the release date of the upcoming Infinity Ward gaming title is sometime during fall.
This time around, RalphValve, a reputable insider and data miner, claims that the reveal date of the "Modern Warfare 2" is a few weeks from now.
The reputable leaker offered that the first-ever teaser of the "Modern Warfare 2" is seeing the light of day on the last day of the month or on April 30.
However, it is worth noting that the "Call of Duty" insider did not give out specific details regarding the first teaser of the "Modern Warfare" sequel.
In addition to that, the leaker also clarified that the first teaser on April 30 is not actually the official reveal of the new "Call of Duty" game.
Instead, he said that the reveal date for the upcoming first-shooter game is likely to be some time next month in May.
