Magnetic Slime Robot for Health? Doctors Say It Can Recover Swallowed Objects, Squeeze in Places

A magnetic slime robot is a prototype that aims to recover swallowed objects that made their way to the body and have no chance of getting digested by a person's organs. Some things remain on the body for a long time, and it may cause several problems if it does not get excreted by a person via their rectum and anus via the secretion process.

Ever had a LEGO or penny swallowed as a child, and the doctor had to pump one's stomach to get it out, or else it would bring several effects to the body? If yes, this painful process will not be happening anymore as new research looks into developing a magnetic slime robot that will recover swallowed objects in the body.

The need for pumping one's stomach is over, focusing on the many possible objects that a person will swallow in their life. Not all things can be digested by the stomach, and even everyday foods are not that easily digested by the body. What more for objects that are not meant for swallowing by a person?

Accidents may happen all the time, but that does not mean that they should significantly affect a person's life, as there are ways to answer several problems already.

Magnetic Slime Robot is Still a Prototype

The researchers from the Chinese University of Hong Kong made this by combining neodymium magnet particles with borax and polyvinyl alcohol to create this "slime" robot that they can control.

For now, the innovation is still a prototype that needs development and more research before it is publicly used. Still, doctors and other academics already see its potential to answer several problems.

Health Tech Innovations

Health technology is a part of this world already. It focuses on the massive innovations that researchers and scientists bring to the table, giving everyone a chance to have better medical attention. One of the latest health tech innovations is the Mojo Vision and its Mojo Lens prototype that aims to expand what the eyes can see via an AR capability.

Users may access many everyday devices for all health tech capabilities that they can receive for the tech available around them. One example would be the Oculus Quest 2 and its latest integration with the Apple Health app that will monitor their track and improvements via the wearable device for various needs.

Researchers bring countless innovations for everyone, and it focuses on the many advancements in technology that also focus on health. Researchers always get something new and aim to improve the quality of life that may be used for everyday use, including this magnetic slime robot that aims to recover swallowed goods that are not for the body.
