"Fortnite" players and Epic Games have already raised a whopping $36 million for its Ukraine donation drive, wherein the proceeds of purchases in the battle royale game completely go to humanitarian aid.
Fortnite, Epic Ukraine Donation Drive
As per a news story by Kotaku, Epic Games, the publisher of the hit battle royale, "Fortnite," started the current season of the gaming title with a donation drive that seeks to support humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
For the next two weeks, all of the proceeds from the in-game purchases on "Fortnite" will completely be given away to fund the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
As such, whenever a "Fortnite" player is buying any in-game skin or other items, such as emotes, gliders, and even the Battle Pass, they are also donating to help support the folks out there in Ukraine.
It also means that all of the supposed earnings of Epic Games from the players of its most popular gaming title will go straight to humanitarian aid for Ukraine, at least for the next two weeks.

Fortnite Players, Epic Games Raise $36 Million
The first day of the Ukraine donation drive on "Fortnite" has concluded with a hefty $36 million worth of charity in merely 24 hours, according to a recent blog post by Epic Games.
Although the run of a humanitarian relief donation drive for Ukraine on the battle royale game is up until April 3, 2022, Epic Games have already disclosed its first-day proceeds.
The publisher of "Fortnite" said that "as of March 21, together we've raised $36 million USD in humanitarian relief funds" for Ukraine.
The initial update of Epic comes as the game publisher previously highlighted that it would instantly hand out the donations to Ukraine as "transactions are reported."
The giant game publisher would no longer wait for the proceeds from purchases of "Fortnite" players to reach either their payments partners or its platform.
Instead, as soon as a player of the gaming title transacted in-game, the proceeds will automatically be sent to the charities handling the humanitarian fund, including the UN Refugee Agency, World Food Programme, Direct Relief, and the United Nations Children's Fund.
