Instead of focusing on conventional vehicles, Tesla already focused on creating advanced EVs, allowing it to have a huge lead against its competitors that are just starting to enter the EV market.

Now, it seems like Tesla was able to get the trust of EV consumers. Here's what the new data of AutoPacific reveals.

Tesla the Most Trusted EV Company

According to Inside EVs' latest report, the automotive marketing research company, AutoPacific, released its latest study's data.

Based on the company's findings, Tesla is the most trusted electric car manufacturer, with over 32% of the EV consumer participants choosing it.

The new study revealed that most of the participants claim that Tesla is their most trusted option when it comes to creating AVs (autonomous vehicles).

As of the moment, Tesla's FSD is still incomplete, with several reports claiming that the self-driving feature of the automaker causes many accidents.

But, the automaker still insists that its Full Self-Driving feature is safe compared to other models.

"Tesla's Autopilot and FSD Capability features enhance the ability of our customers [sic] to drive safer than the average driver in the U.S.," said Tesla Public Policy Senior Director Rohan Patel via The Verge.

Apple Included in the Top 10 Most Trusted EV Companies?

AutoPacific's latest study enrolled around 600 drivers in the United States. Aside from Tesla, most of them preferred trusting Toyota (19%), BMW (18%), Chevrolet (16%), and other automakers.

On the other hand, Audi, Subaru, and Cadillac were the least trusted automakers, as the automotive marketing research firm claimed.

But, the most interesting company to enter the list is Apple. It is the only non-automaker on the list. The iPhone maker was also able to beat other carmakers after it became the 6th most trusted company when it comes to AVs.

In other news, Lucid Motors EV prices might also increase, just like Tesla and Rivian. Meanwhile, Elon Musk confirmed the new Tesla Master Plan 3.
