WhatsApp will bring an update soon, and this is from WABetaInfo's report that claims that a new version for the application is coming to the updates now. Version 22.5.0.70 will bring a new feature that will expand on the accessibility feature of the app to focus on its usage, especially now that most things are remote.

Meta brought a feature for WhatsApp that will focus on voice calls, focusing not only on bettering the call experience itself but also on many more. WhatsApp's new version will focus on the group voice calls on its use, focusing on the waveforms in a call that will correctly identify who is currently speaking or not, helping users know those speaking immediately.

According to 9 to 5 Mac, WhatsApp's new feature will help in accessibility controls over the social media application's voice call features. Correctly identifying the voice's waveforms and who is talking when faces are not seen will help know who is speaking at the moment. It will also help prevent those out of turn from disrupting the group call.

WhatsApp Features Now

WhatsApp became one of the most popular online messaging applications that bring a free service to send and receive messages and make phone calls with more clear exchanges. However, it faced a lot of disputes due to Meta's (formerly Facebook) data exchanges that will let the company access user data from the app to its servers.

Since then, users have looked into boycotting WhatsApp and Meta's group of social media platforms to avoid their data being stolen, especially as it is a massive issue now. Additionally, they looked for alternatives in instant messaging applications, including the cloud-based platform of Telegram and the encrypted messaging app of Signal Messenger.

Since then, the Meta-owned instant messaging application changed its ways and focused on bringing new features for its users that still utilize the app. The elements it brought gave a new meaning to the app and made it famous once again. The app focused on bringing social media features to the messaging application from Meta.
