Sony's PS5 DualSense Controller is the game-changer in the field of gaming accessories. The next-gen console has become well-equipped and convenient to use thanks to this controller.
Some players want to remap the buttons on their controllers simply because they want to have a different setup for a particular game. Others love to do the same since the placement of the buttons could make or break gameplay.
If you are curious about how to remap your buttons in your PS5 DualSense, here are the easy steps that you should follow as a guide.
How to Remap Buttons on PS5 DualSense
From the "How to" article written by Android Central's Samuel Tolbert on Friday, July 23, there are only eight procedures that you should do if you want to try remapping the buttons for the most updated PlayStation 5 controller.
Start by opening your PS5. Make sure that you will sign-in first to your profile so remapping buttons will be possible.
Next, go to the Settings.
From the eight options in the Settings, select the second one: "Accessibility."
Then, scroll down further. Look for the "Controllers."
After going to the section, search for the "Custom Button Assignments" and select it.
Upon clicking it, you can now choose the "Enable Custom Button Assignments."
You can now see the corresponding buttons for every control. From this point, the remapping of your PS5 DualSense buttons will now begin.
If you are already sure of the changes that you have made, click "Apply" to save your preferred button options.
Additionally, if you feel like returning to the original button settings, you can always reset them.

PS5 DualSense vs PS5 DualShock 4
Last year, Tom's Guide wrote a comparison article about the recent PS5 DualSense and its predecessor, DualShock 4 for PS4.
According to the report, it's understandable that the new DualSense controller would be priced higher than the old PS4 controller. The PS5 controller's value only sat at $69.99, a $5 difference from DualShock's price of $64.99.
For the design, the PS5 DualSense provides more grip than its PS4 counterpart. The gamepad for the next-gen controller is smoother compared to the DualShock 4. Moreover, the DualSense also came in various colors, while the PS4 accessory only featured a single color option at that time.
In terms of compatibility, the DualSense is more flexible since it could be used for PC and Android besides PS5, as per early reports. On the other hand, DualShock 4 can only be used for PS4.
What Makes DualSense Unique
Due to the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, the PS5 controller is regarded to be one of the best controllers out there that players can purchase.
There's a strange touch that gamers feel once they hold the controller. Additionally, it's interesting that they could now enjoy realistic feels, such as when firing a gun or punching an enemy. The next-level simulation is what makes it outstanding among other console controllers.
DualSense can also be used to play songs on Spotify. Not only can you play games on the platform, but also you can listen to music while feeling them more realistically.
