PS5 DualSense controller colors have left something for fans to ponder. Many users take their time to guess the ideal color of the first dynamic controller with a built-in microphone and immersive haptic feedback.
According to the console maker, the newly-revealed colors Cosmic Red and Midnight will be hitting the shelves next month. With the release of the two fresh shades, the original white version controller is not alone anymore.
Cosmic Red and Midnight Black PS5 DualSense Controllers' First Look
According to a statement of Isabelle Tomatis in the official blog of PlayStation, the Cosmic Red has been on the lookout with its "striking" red and black design which was heavily highlighted by the vividly-placed hues of red in the cosmos or universe.
Meanwhile, Tomatis also said that the Midnight Black variant symbolizes the night sky through the unique pigments of black mixed with light grey. Somehow the inspirations of the two colors sound "cosmic" to the trained ears.
Ahead of their exact release on June 18, the launch of the upcoming colors of the DualSense controllers will still depend on each region.
"Our goal is to always find designs that will surprise and entice our fans, and these new colors are the result of an extensive selection process," Leo Cardoso from PlayStation stated.

Cardoso continued that what they wanted for these amazing hues is how they complement one another. He said that their design borrows a galactical theme which has been implemented in the previous designs on the PS5 and its accessories.
Where to Pre-Order Cosmic Red and Midnight Black PS5 DualSense Controller?
According to a report by GameSpot on Thursday, May 13, the Midnight Black edition of the DualSense controller will cost $70. Its Cosmic Red counterpart will be slightly more expensive for $75.
