‘The Sims 4' Update: How to Catch Sims Sessions, Which Bugs are Fixed

"The Sims 4" has received a new game update from its developers.

Players can now enjoy a couple of bug fixes plus a new limited-time, in-game event that has arrived just in time for summer.

The bug fixes, in particular, are in response to a list of community concerns that have been posted on the Electronic Arts (EA) website in a so-called "Laundry List."

The in-game event and bug fixes follow a recent "Sims 4" update that introduced a Dream Home Decorator expansion.

"The Sims 4" update features a new in-game event they're calling the Sims Sessions. Sims Sessions is a summer music festival that players and their Sims can enjoy while playing the game.

The festival will feature performances from top artists who will "come together to entertain and to delight us with some of their most iconic songs," according to the update posted on the website.

The Sims Sessions festival lineup will be led by two-time Grammy nominee Bebe Rexha, who will perform an acoustic rendition of her song "Sabotage."

Also in the lineup are Glass Animals, who will perform "Heat Waves," and Joy Oladokun.

The Sims Sessions will run every Sunday in-game from June 29, 10 a.m. PT, to July 7, 10 p.m. PT.

In true summer music festival fashion, the Sims Sessions venue, which will be in Magnolia Blossom Park in Willow Creek, will also have vendors where Sims can purchase merchandise.

To be able to attend Sims Sessions, players must first update their game. After the game is loaded, players' Sims will receive a message notifying them of Sims Sessions.

Players must take note that Sims Sessions will happen on an in-game Sunday in a new Save. According to developers, players will have to wait for it to be Sunday in the game after updating if they're not in a new save to be able to attend Sims Sessions.

Sims 4 Bug Fixes

Last June 15, EA posted their latest Laundry List, which includes top game-related community concerns for "The Sims 4" that need to be addressed by developers. With the new update, a number of the concerns raised in the June 15 Laundry List have been dealt with.

A couple of Create a Sims bugs have been included in the fix. Teens generated via "Play with Genetics" will no longer sport Crow's feet. New colors in some hairstyles will also no longer make Sims' teeth disappear when applied. Picking any of the new hair colors will no longer instantly change Sims' eyebrows and eyelids.

Sims Profiles will no longer turn up blank after Sims learn about other Sims' likes and dislikes. Plants will also no longer reset to their previous growth stage out of the blue.

Bug fixes for "Sims 4" expansion packs such as "Snowy Escape," an expansion pack launched last year, "Get Together, and "Bust the Dust" have also been made.
