"The Sims 4" Cottage Living brings gamers into some sort of Alice in Wonderland-like world as gamers are now able to relive most of the village fantasies they might have had! The new DLC brings gamers into the delightful Henford-on-Bagley town away from city life where they are able to live life in the village.

'The Sims 4' Cottage Living Expansion Pack

Although the game isn't directly magical, it does have a magical vibe around it. "The Sims 4" released an official teaser video on their Twitter account showing a somewhat Alice in Wonderland-like scene where in a specific Sim with a rabbit reminding viewers of the famous "down the rabbithole" scene.

What's even more peculiar is that the rabbit has clothing on! There is also a llama in the picture. Could the new "The Sims 4" DLC include more animals as well? One thing gamers can expect from the game is that it takes the gamers away from the city.

Preorder 'The Sims 4' Cottage Life

While there might have been a lot of DLCs for the city, it might be time to fulfill that cottage fantasy. What's quite interesting is what the economics would be in Cottage Life. Would there be additional village-like jobs to fill? What else can Sims do aside from the garden?

"The Sims 4" Cottage Life does have a number of unique features gamers can enjoy. The only problem, however, is the Cottage Life Expansion Pack is not yet releasing soon. In fact, gamers would still have to wait until September 2 in order to play the game. The game, however, is available for preorder according to the EA website.

Here are a few key features gamers can expect:

  • Ride the bike around town - finally, gamers will be able to take it slow and live life like in a village.

  • Meet "Onward" - there is yet another gnome to meet and their name is "Onward" the Adventurous Gnome.

  • deLIGHTful Tree- the Bramblewood's DeLIGHTful tree is definitely something nature-lover gamers will enjoy.

"The Sims 4" Cottage Living Gameplay

1. Make friends and raise animals - gamers will be able to raise more animals on what looks like a farm. Cows are mostly preferred for the milk that they provide and chickens for the eggs that they lay. Of course, there are also other animals gamers can try to befriend like foxes, rabbits, birds, and more. Becoming friends with them will get players occasional gifts and garden help.

2. More immersive surroundings - players can live off of their land and can get the ingredients directly from their farm itself. Grow the produce, try visiting the village, or even try foraging in the wild. If the player is a master at growing crops, they can enter the oversize crop Finchwick Fair competition!

3. Simple village life - the cozy life in the Henford-on-Bagley village is a cozy experience. Try having a picnic outside or heading to the pub. The town's lore is also quite interesting. Try to find out more.
