Are you an Android or an iOS user? Back in the day, these two factions were really hard to merge since Android users would have no way of knowing what using an iPhone feels like and vice versa. While some people experiment with both the Android and iOS, others usually stick to the operating system that they are more used to.
Samsung attempts to switch iOS users
According to the story by XDA-developers, things might have changed big time as Samsung has just launched something that could turn things around.
Apple iOS users who have maybe never even tried to use an Android phone can finally try out how Samsung's Android skin feels like on their very own iPhones.
The massive South Korean smartphone company has just launched a brand new interactive web experience. Samsung calls this interactive web experience a name that directly relates to the iOS called iTest. This particular experience would allow any iPhone user to simply just try and see what's on the other side.
The Android experience with iTest
In order to try out the experience on your very own iPhone, users can easily navigate to the online iTest website on Safari and simply follow the given instructions in order to add a new web app to the users' home screen.
Tapping on the Samsung web app would then launch users into a whole new interactive interface that would somehow resemble a more modern Galaxy smartphone's general home screen.
The new simulated home screen would give its users a peek into what using an Android would be like. The home screen includes a number of apps as well as the settings option in order to offer quite a really convincing One UI experience.
Apple vs. iOS
According to MacRumors, Samsung is now openly advertising its iTest web experience over in New Zealand.
Although Samsung might not try to promote the experience that much in the United States, iPhone users in the area can still give the Android experience a try.
The Android vs. iOS question has been going on for years and while one faction gets strong, its competitor always seems to be one step ahead of the other. There have been others that openly prefer one to the other not just because of becoming accustomed to it but because its user experience really caters to what they need.
Try out Android
The switch made by some users, however, has been happening over the years not only because the release of new models but also the main preference of phone users. While iPhone users might want to keep using their iOS devices, it won't hurt to try out something totally different.
iPhone users can finally check out just how the Android world works simply by checking out the iTest website and see if trying out the "other world" is really worth a shot.
