It is finally coming! Rejected Games is set to release its unique single-player survival game, "Mr. Prepper," with its full version finally dropping on March 18 on Steam.
The upcoming survival sim is from Polish developer Rejected Games and publisher by PlayWay S.A. had previously released the "Mr. Prepper: Prologue" last August 27, 2020. In the free and standalone version, players were introduced to the titular Mr. Prepper and his adventures around the unusually calm Muricaville - helping him take the first steps toward survival and escape.
With the Steam page for Mr. Prepper Full Version now ticking toward opening the floodgates to its fanbase, here are some of the things to expect.

Help Mr. Prepper All The Way Through
While the Mr. Prepper Prologue was well-received, there are still a few issues in the game's previously-released demo version. Since the last patch - Prologue 0.91h - was applied on January 11, players of the full version can enjoy smoother gameplay and improved mechanics.
Developers have already fixed issues where players sometimes grabbed full boxes and the intermittent issues of climbing down under the mine elevator. Players can now choose of loading their saved games from a chosen day, which occurs when the game forces players to reload from a save point - either by an arrest by the man from The Agency, or death - as well as the ability to sell meat extracted from deers and boars to the Huntress.
Also, for players who have experience playing previous releases of Mr. Prepper Prologue, try and tell the difference with improved sound mechanics - such as creating different rainfall sounds for when players are inside or outside of a house and differentiating footstep sounds depending on the terrain.
Also, players who often found themselves thrust into a fight ill-equipped with weapons or supplies now have an additional survival tool as devs have added a Block mechanic for fights, easily triggered with the left control.
Lastly, as the full version is now upon us, players will now get the chance to complete most quests teased in the Mr. Prepper Prologue but hindered by the message "TO BE CONTINUED IN FULL VERSION." They can now help Mr. Prepper see-through missions such as the Mushrooms and visit all-new locations in further detail.
With Overwhelming Support From Gamers
Since Mr. Prepper Prologue has been made available via Steam, it has received "Very Positive" ratings from the gaming platform - with 85 percent of the 1,976 game reviews praising different aspects of the game.
"Reminds me of a combination of Fallout Shelter and This War of Mine without the overwhelmingly depressing tone and a touch of Sims," one reviewer wrote.
Additionally, Rejected Games has launched a "Community Group Challenge" series ahead of the games' release, offering launch discounts based on the community's milestones. Shortly after announcing its official launch date, accompanied by a teaser trailer on its YouTube channel, the developers were able to surpass the first tier of the challenge - having 35K members on its Steam Community Group and 230K requests on Steam Wishlist - for a 5% discount on game price upon launch.
A little than two weeks later, Rejected Games announced an eight percent discount after fans crossed the second tier: 38K on Steam Community Group and 250K on the Steam Wishlist. With a few days before launch, fans are very well on the way to passing the third tier for a 10 percent discount.
