Apple releases the latest macOS Big Sur 11.3 Beta, which brings new changes and fixes. These include support for XSX Pads, PS5, HomePod Stereo Pairs, as well as fixes for iOS apps on the desktop.
The tech giant manufacturer released the latest desktop software after it launched its 11.2 updates for macOS Big Sur, which was developed to fix the annoying Bluetooth issues on the latest M1 MacBooks.
According to Tech Radar's latest report, the most notable change that is offered by the new macOS Big Sur 11.3 Beta is the support for running iPad and iPhone apps on the new MacBooks that are powered by the latest M1 in-house chip of Apple.
macOS Big Sur 11.3's offered features
The new macOS Big Sur 11.3 is expected to bring capabilities that allow iPad apps to become larger on-screen compared to the previous application versions. It will also offer a new preference section for both iPad and iPhone applications.

On the other hand, the new latter is expected to allow users to customize a set of keyboard shortcut alternatives to the touch interface that the included apps were specifically designed for. These tasks include swiping, dragging, and more.
Meanwhile, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S fans will surely be excited with the new macOS Big Sur 11.3 Beta. Why? Because Apple decided to add support for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, which is also expected to arrive on iPhones once the upcoming iOS 14.5 is released.
On the other hand, updates to Safari, Apple Music, Reminders, and Apple News are also expected to arrive in the new update.
Support for HomePod Stereo Pairs is included
According to MacRumors' latest report, Apple's latest desktop system also brings support for HomePod Stereo Pairs. This means that the HomePod Stereo Pairs will be displayed as a single option in the sound output, which is different from the current versions of macOS. In the current MacBook systems, HomePods that are set up as a stereo pair can be used for AirPlay content or in the Music app.
However, reports claim that the new support feature is still not working properly, which is normal since the latest macOS 11.3 is still a beta version. This means that Apple still has some works to do before the latest desktop system is complete.
