Liam Neeson Prank Called 'Taken' Daughter's Ex-Boyfriend

When his on-screen daughter was dumped in real life, Liam Neeson did not take it kindly. And we all know that you wouldn't like Liam Neeson when he's not happy.

The story goes that Maggie Grace, who plays Neeson's daughter Kim in the Taken movies, was dumped by her then-boyfriend during the filming of one of the movies. Neeson has grown very protective of Grace over the years, with their fictional relationship in the movies spilling over into real life. So while nursing a broken heart, Grace enlisted his help in getting a little over-the-phone revenge.

And it's brilliant beyond words.

Even better, Grace had the presence of mind to record the phone call, and she shared it with Conan O'Brien. Watch.

Dads everywhere in the world just spontaneously jumped to their feet and gave a standing ovation.

"Your first mistake was dating out of your league," Neeson says in-character as Taken's Bryan Mills. If you listen carefully, you can hear Grace laughing in the background. "I don't need to say it, but I have a particular set of skills," Neeson continues. "And I don't want to waste them on you."

Yeah, it was a prank. But it probably wouldn't be a good idea to call Neeson's bluff.
