Everyone knows that Liam Neeson has a very particular set of skills. But did you know he has 12 of them?
And would you look at that: It's Christmas. As in the "12 days of." 12 days, 12 skills. Don't you love marketing synergy? Unable to resist the possibilities, 20th Century Fox put together the following trailer for Taken 3, which pokes a bit of self-aware fun at Neeson's penchant for killing people in his movies.
Taken should've been a one-off flick but it became a franchise after audiences remembered how much fun it is to see a serious actor of Neeson's caliber kick bad guy butt. And based on this trailer, he's still remarkably lethal for a 62-year-old (yeah, that's his real age).
Here's how Fox describes Taken 3:
Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his "particular set of skills," to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now — his daughter.
Taken 3 is Liam Neeson's bone-breaking, neck-snapping, throat-chopping gift to ring in your new year. You can unwrap it on January 9, 2015.
