The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be gracing the Series 31 Update for Microsoft's "Forza Horizon 4" this week along with two other cars, and players will have the chance to try one out. As MSN reports, the eighth-generation Corvette stingray addition comes after players had insisted on adding the new corvette to the award-winning video racing game.
"Forza Horizon 4", a racing video game that already features hundreds of impressive performance vehicles was published by Microsoft studios and was released late 2018 on both Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is set in a fictionalized area in Great Britain where numerous competitive vehicles can be used by Forza Players.
The Fourth Horizon title, which is also the eleventh installment included in the Forza series is notable for its dynamic content-expanding updates including new game modes, change of seasons, and new vehicles such as the latest addition of the Corvette Stingray. Forza players have been ecstatic about adding the new beast in the game, and are curious about how it competes with other high-performance vehicles in Forza 4.
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: American Supercar in British Road
Known as one of America's best selling sports cars, the two-seat American coupe will make its way to the British roads in the Forza Horizon 4. That being said, it will be an opportunity to test how an all-american supercar performs in foreign tracks. The Mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has appeared in the game due to popular demand by Forza gamers.
Following reports by Motoring Research that Chevrolet will soon be released for british buyers, the Stingray's appearance in the "Forza" Game would be a great opportunity.
The Corvette to be featured in Forza Horizon 4 will be a Z51 Performance Pack-equipped Corvette. That being said, the 6.2-litre V8 engine of the supercar will produce a 495 horsepower, amalgamated with 470 lb-ft of torque.
Just like other C8 Corvettes, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will use an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, powered by a top speed that is approximately about 200 meters per hour.
Camaro IROC-Z , and Honda S800 to join the Corvette this Week
As reported by MSN,two more additions will appear in the "Forza" games this month. A third-generation Camaro IROC-Z will be a breather to those who might not be pleased with the mid-engined Corvette's appearance. The Camaro IROC-Z which is based on the Z28 model will be powered by a 5.0-litre V8 with 215 horsepower, and an upgraded Bilstein suspension.
Another addition to the Forza Horizon 4 will be the Honda S800. It features a 791cc four-cylinder engine. The vehicle's S800's 70 horsepower output makes it the first ever Honda road car to attain a speed of 100 meters per hour.
Exciting things lie ahead for Forza players, including new competitions, modes and challenges for the Forza Horizon 4 Update, available this Thursday, January 14.
