Since the game's release is getting close, the likelihood of larger pre-release streams and leaks are now starting to grow. Because of this, CD Projekt Red issued a warning to streamers and other influencers on Dec. 3.

"We're getting closer and closer to launch and chances are some of you will get your hands on a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 before release day," said the publisher via PC Gamer's latest report.

"However difficult this might be for us to achieve, our ambition is for gamers all across the world to have the same-spoiler-free-experience at the time the game releases," it added.

MAX-TAC will come after those who will stream

CD Projekt Red said that they will send MAX-TAC, the group that takes down streams, to those who will leak the gameplay before Dec. 9. MAX-TAC is a cyber-SWAT paramilitary branch of the police.

It is deployed to take down illegal streamers. CD Projekt Red described that they are the bottom line, online-combat police officers. However, this group also has members that are streamers themselves.

Although these guys will not knock on your front doors, they will still conduct takedowns and DMCA strikes, which will affect your channel.
