"Phasmophobia" is currently one of the most popular horror games. Previously, Kinetic Games changed their Early Access plans for the game.
Part of the game publisher's plan is to release new features in "Phasmophobia" latest update. What's exciting about this is that the co-op ghost-hunting game's latest features include a much-requested feature.
This time, you can mess around with your teammates once you die by haunting them as a ghost. Before the update came, the players spend the rest of a round in limbo when they meet their demise.
There are still in ghost forms, however, they can only observe other players, just like in "Among Us." When a crewmate dies in that game, they can also do their tasks. But they can't speak to the remaining players once a meeting is called.
You can now grab objects after you die
Thanks to the "Phasmophobia" new update, the players can now grab non-equipment objects or items (the things you can see in the game, which can't be touched by the remaining players).
Once you're a ghost, you can throw things at your teammates and mess with those who are still looking for the real ghost. This is not the only update that Kinetic Games revealed. The game publisher also confirmed that a new prison map will soon arrive, as reported by Bloody Disgusting.
New Prison Map
According to Screen Rant's latest report, Kinetic Games is currently working on the latest prison map that will soon arrive on its "Phasmophobia." A fan requested for a new level, which the game publisher decided to include in the game.
However, Kinetic Games hasn't released that much update regarding the new map. Although this is the case, the teaser still received some positive feedback on social media from the fans who are really exciting to try the upcoming level.
"Phasmophobia" was released for free in Steam, but only within two months. However, the spooky indie game still became successful because of the Twitch Streamers and YouTubers sharing their gameplay and funny reactions.
