The second Unlock rewards week is coming after the momentous Pokemon GO Fest 2020 is happening in a couple more days after the controversial Dragon Week. This August 7, players will finally get to enjoy Enigma Week--and here's everything you need to know about it.
A Little Dragon Week Drama
Dragon Week is coming to an end after a little drama, which, according to GameSpot, stemmed from the rarity of Deino being hatched from 7-km Eggs.
Besides Dragon-type Pokemon Trapinch and Bagon spawning in the wild more often, the Legendary Dragon-type Rayquaza is also re-appearing in the game in the Legendary Boss Raids, with the chances of getting the stunning Shiny Rayquaza.
But apart from these Pokemon, Niantic Labs promised themed-Pokemon hatching from 7-km eggs, but that didn't seem to be the case with many Pokemon GO players, making them frustrated.
Nevertheless, the event is ongoing, and fans are hoping things will be smoother with the next Unlock rewards week.

The Start of Enigma Week
As with the Dragon Week, Pokemon GO's Enigma Week will also feature special Battle Raids and spawns, Shiny opportunities, event-themed 7-km eggs, and special timed-research for more rewards and Pokemon encounters.
According to the news outlet, Enigma Week will start this Friday, August 7, at 1:00 p.m. local time until August 14.
After Rayquaza, the next event will feature Deoxys on five-star Battle Raids where everyone can have the chance to defeat and catch a Shiny one.
Since Deoxys is a Psychic-type, you'll want to use Ghost, Bug, and Dark-Pokemon to counter it, while you should avoid using Fighting and Poison-types as they are vulnerable to these types of Pokemon.
A Shiny Staryu will also appear if you're lucky, but more players are perhaps more excited with the arrival of a Shiny Unown.
Attack of the Fanboy reported that Niantic has already confirmed the appearance of Shiny Unown throughout the entire week, making it the first time players will have the chance to acquire this Pokemon's Shiny version.
Additionally, Unown spelling out "ULTRA" will also be available on two-star raids, which is practically easy even for mid-level players.
For those who have joined this year's GO Fest, the Unown also made an appearance spelling out "GO" through incense spawns.
Shiny Pokemon Odds
No matter if it's for Shiny Deoxys or Shiny Unown, the chances of encountering a Shiny version on these raids is one in 20, so if you're adamant on getting a Shiny version, you'll want to stock up with your Remote Battle Raid passes so you can continuously join raids in the hopes of encountering one.
What Pokemon Will Spawn?
Here is the list of the Pokemon that will spawn more during this Pokemon GO Enigma Week:
- Staryu (with newly added Shiny)
- Baltoy
- Elgyem
- Bronzor
- Solrock
- Jigglypuff
- Clefairy
- Lunatone
When it comes to raids, expect to see Brozor and Claydol on three-star raids and Elgyem in one-star raids.
Pokemon GO is available for iOS and Android devices.
