Nioh 2 has only been out for a week, but Team Ninja has already rolled out its first patch, which is now available to download on PlayStation 4.
But, what exactly did Nioh 2 patch 1.05 bring?
Nioh 2 Patch 1.05
According to Gematsu, the new patch brought some adjustments and fixes to minor problems, so for anyone who is looking forward to possible new content, it might be too early for that.
Nevertheless, Team Ninja is working hard to make the gameplay experience as smooth as possible for everyone, even though some players reported that they didn't experience the bug themselves.
Team Ninja posted the full Nioh 2 v.1.05 patch notes on their official Twitter account.
Adjustments Made to the Game
One of the adjustments they made was to make it faster for players to gain "Proficiency" when they are using a weapon that is not as high in Proficiency as weapons with the highest proficiency level.
Additionally, players will now find it easier to enter some Dojo missions as they require less Proficiency than before, and some missions have also been adjusted, meaning they now have better-recommended levels that reflect their perceived difficulty.
The patch also lowered the health of the Gaki, while the developers buffed the HP of Acolytes.
Besides the Gaki's health, some of their attacks have also been lowered along with the "overpowered" attacks of the Yoki and Enki.
Team Ninja has also made some more adjustments that can now affect the gameplay experience and hopefully make it more enjoyable for Nioh 2 players.
Team Ninja Resolved Issues
Besides adjustments, there are also patch notes made for the fixes that Team Ninja rolled out through the latest update.
Among the issues they resolved were bugs that affected the Divination Talisman that does not enhance the compass. There were also fixes provided for several skills, among others, as reported by WCCFTech.
The update is only 82MB big, so it will not definitely take too much of your space and can be downloaded in a few minutes.
Fans of the first Nioh game had high hopes for the sequel, and they weren't let down as critics gave positive reviews, and fans have been enjoying it so far, as well, although it can be extremely challenging and will probably kill you every two minutes or so.
That's why we've shared some tips that can help you survive longer.
A Different but Familiar Experience
Nioh 2 is a prequel despite it being the second game. And instead of the beloved hero from the first title, fans are now treated to a customizable hero as he or she travels throughout the 1550s Japan tackling and defeating monsters or Yokai as they are called in the game.
Although there are similarities, Nioh 2 has defined itself as a different experience compared to the first title, but there are still familiar systems, including the Ki Pulse, which still remains an essential skill that players should learn first.
As of now, the game is a PlayStation 4 exclusive, although GameSpot reported previously that it would be released on PC sometime in November.
