Pokemon Sword & Shield News

Several players have reported that they have received hacked Pokemon through Surprise Trade; this causes the game to crash when trying to access your Y-Comm menu in-game.

Pokemon fansite Serebii has reported that the new Sword & Shield patch fixed the issue, so it is now safe to use whenever you need to try and access the Surprise Trade moving forward.

Also, to talk about is that the new Max Raid Event is currently underway and has players going nuts over the content. Until March 25, you are most likely to be able to find Gigantamax versions of Snorlax, Gengar, and Machamp in Max Raid dens, and you need to work quickly! At the end of March, you will also be quick to claim freebies like 20 free Battle Points and a free Bottle Cap. That's not all; the full list can be found here.

The next major update to this beloved game would be part one of the expansion pass, which is The Isle of Armor around June. The next one would be The Crown Tundra, which will probably be out a few months after that and offer players brand new content to get their hands on.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, as well as the Switch Version of Pokemon Home, have also received their fair share of updates.

It still is, however, very vague as they only said that it "fixed several issues to improve the gameplay experience."
