Three and O2 have recently confirmed there are some issues with their networks. At this time, both are still investigating the matter. The reports mentioned that the problem only arises when trying to connect to other systems.

What Caused The Issue?

For calls with the same network, everything is excellent, and nothing out of the ordinary is there to note. This is because of the issue that millions of people are now beginning to work from their home rather than offices and are now using more of their mobile phones at the same time.

Why Did This Happen?

According to Down Detector, this is a network-status monitoring website that shows that all four of the users in the UK's major networks have been reporting issues right now as we speak. Disruption to other businesses, big and small, is related to the coronavirus pandemic--now is rocking the daily lives of people around the world. Understandably, owners would want their employees safe and also keep their brand free from negative feedback from employees and customers; if by any chance, any of them would be tested positive in their stores.

Three and O2 Speaks Out

O2 first spoke out right on their website that "some customers may be experiencing issues when making and receiving voice calls on our 2G, 3G, and 4G networks" after that statement, the company apologized to their customers. About 3% of their customers are affected by this problem right now.

Now from Three UK, a spokesperson said: "We are aware of an issue affecting around 3% of voice calls. We apologize for any inconvenience, and our team is working to fix this ASAP. The rest of the network is stable."
