Niantic Labs has launched Pokemon Go years ago and continues to be the top augmented reality game on mobile devices—with new updates continuously rolling out so fans can keep enjoying new experiences.
One of the most recent updates for the game was the November Community Day, wherein players around the world can acquire rare Pokemon and bonuses for three hours.
The Wayfarer Program
Additionally, Niantic has also released the Wayfarer program for Pokemon Go, wherein certain players can suggest local spots in their area to become PokeStops or gyms.
According to Nintendo Wire, the Pokemon Go wayfarer program was initially released last month, although it was only available in select regions.
With its worldwide release, some Pokemon Go players can suggest spots—but only if they are level 40 and up, and can only suggest their local places through the game's official site, or within the app itself.
However, every suggestion will have to be reviewed by Niantic Labs before it can turn into an official PokeStop or gym.
Supereffective Week
Besides the November Community Day, and the Wayfarer program, Niantic Labs has prepared more events for Pokemon Go this month, including the Supereffective Week that will start this November 19 to November 26, and will start at 1 P.M. PT.
During this critical event, Pokemon that can go great against the Team Go Rocket and other Trainers will appear more often than usual in the wild, in raids, as well as in Field Research, plus players will also have more chances of encountering and capturing a Shiny Tentacool.
Players will also earn double Stardusts when they join trainer battles, more Revives and Potions on PokeStops, as well as a Charge TM with every Tier 3 Raid wins during the Supereffective Week.
Beating Terrakion
From Nov. 26 to Dec. 2, starting from 1 P.M. PT, a Legendary Rock- and Fighting-type Pokemon, Terrakion, will be available on Tier 5 Raids.
Although a Legendary Pokemon, the Terrakion has seven types of weaknesses, and one of those is Psychic attacks, so your best bet would be to team up with Mewtwos with Psystrike.
However, you might want to add a few more Pokemon on your team since finding more Mewtwo is limited.
The last event for November, the Friend Fest, will begin on Nov. 27 and will last until Dec. 2, where players can encounter family-themed Pokemon like the male and female Nidoran, as well as earn more bonuses as per ComicBook.
