T-Mobile is going to stop selling the OnePlus 7 Pro in the near future in favor of the upcoming OnePlus 7T.

From the look of things, sales of OnePlus phones at the Uncarrier are also in decline.

T-Mobile Discontinues The OnePlus 7 Pro

According to a report conducted by Wave7 Research (via PC Magazine), T-Mobile will replace the OnePlus 7 Pro with the OnePlus 7T because OnePlus "wants to focus on a single model" in the United States.

It has also removed the OnePlus 7 Pro from its website, saying it's because of "low inventory." The smartphone in question is only available in select stores of the carriers.

For those who don't know, T-Mobile is one of the official partners of OnePlus in the United States, making this discontinuation a bigger deal than at first glance.

The report also points out that OnePlus sales at T-Mobile are down to 1.3 percent. That's from 5 percent, which the carrier reached during the heyday of the OnePlus 6T in 2018.

Sprint is another carrier that sells OnePlus devices, particularly the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, but Wave7 Research says that sales are good only in Kansas, which is among the first areas that the company is setting up its 5G network.

OnePlus 7T vs. OnePlus 7 Pro

In some ways, the OnePlus 7T is an upgrade over the OnePlus 7 Pro, but on the other hand, it's also a downgrade in certain aspects.

For starters, the OnePlus 7T has a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and faster charging with its Warp Charge 30T technology. However, the OnePlus 7 Pro still has the sharper screen and higher RAM configuration, not to mention that it has a motorized pop-up selfie camera to boot.

Initially, OnePlus intended for the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T to coexist, according to PC Magazine. However, it seems that the company has had a change of plans.

The OnePlus 7T is slated to launch on Oct. 18 and come with a starting price of $599.
