Certain Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 owners might get Android 10 pretty soon.
T-Mobile has already begun testing for the latest Android version, and assuming everything works out, that means it won't be long now 'til the smartphones in question receive the major update.
Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10 Android 10 Update
As reported earlier by Android Police, the Un-carrier is already working on launching Android 10 to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10 Plus 5G, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, as evidenced by its support pages.
If everything goes off without a hitch, then T-Mobile could start sending out the update over the air to the aforementioned phones in the near future. On the other hand, it might have to restart tests and whatnot if things don't go smoothly.
Speaking of Galaxy devices, the carrier is said to get the necessary files for Android 9 Pie for the Galaxy S8 active and Galaxy Tab A 8.0.
Android 10 Release
To no one's surprise, Pixel phones are among the first ones to get Android 10, and so is the Essential PH-1.
On an interesting note, T-Mobile has already completed testing the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL for the update, but it's still in the testing phase for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL at the time of writing.
Now the update started rolling out on Sept. 3, and it didn't really come as much of a surprise. The cat was let out of the bag by at least two Google Support representatives back in August, after all. On top of that, two Canadian carriers also jumped the gun when they posted the release date of Android 10 on their support pages.
For the uninitiated, the latest Android version comes with an assortment of new handy features, such as Smart Reply, Live Caption, and more. It's also bringing a new Dark Mode, which is a feature that users have long been asking for.
