Justin Theroux has expressed his feelings about his divorce from Jennifer Aniston. The actor confirmed that they are on good terms.
'Most Gentle' Separation
The celebrity couple split last year after being married for more than two years. According to the actor, there is no bad blood between them.
"The good news is that was probably the most - I'm choosing my words really carefully - it was kind of the most gentle separation, in that there was no animosity," stated the actor in a profile interview with the New York Times.
The ex-couple revealed their breakup in a joint statement published seven months ago, however, they decided to split last year.
"In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship," described the two about their relationship in the statement, adding that people should not think that everything that is printed is true.

According to a source, the two married three years ago and realized that they were different from each other to make things work. The source added that the well-known actor is bored by the Friends actress's Hollywood environment. Furthermore, she also cannot relate to his art scene.
According to the article, Justin feels heartbroken because of the friendship that would never be the same again even up to this day. He continued that friendship is ever-changing and that is something that they are both proud of.
The Leftovers actor describes his split as boring. That is because he and Aniston respected each other so much and they ensured that they did not resent each other.
Notably, the split is being compared to the breakup of singer and actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, who referred to their divorce as conscious uncoupling. Despite comparisons, Theroux insists that they are doing it their way. Furthermore, although it might seem boring, he adds that it is the truth.
"It's more like, it's amicable. It's boring, but, you know, we respected each other enough that it was as painless as it could be," he said.
Additionally, the actor also talked about how much media attention their split got. He stated that tabloids blew up their story to make it larger than it is, and even hinting that there was a major event that resulted in their breakup.
The actor confirmed that what happened to them were small things that piled up. He even compared the tabloid headlines to a 10 on the Richter scale as it hinted salacious events that happened to them.
When asked about whether or not he is seeing someone at the moment, he did not confirm or deny it.
