Fortnite Players With Twitch Prime Accounts Are Getting More Freebies

Fortnite players subscribed to Twitch Prime are getting a second set of free Battle Royale items just for being subscribers.

Epic Games is rolling out Twitch Prime Pack #2 starting May 9, and it includes some cosmetic items and a new emote.

New Twitch Prime Pack Inclusions

The partnership between Epic Games and Twitch Prime brings the second wave of freebies for Fortnite players, including the Battle Royale Trailblazer Outfit, Battle Royale Tenderizer Pickaxe, Battle Royale True North Back Bling, and the Battle Royale Freestylin' Emote.

To access the freebies, players may simply log into Twitch and claim Prime Pack #2. It should be noted that their Twitch Prime and Epic accounts must be linked first before they can get the freebies. Those who are subscribed to Amazon Prime are also eligible to get this pack.

Twitch also noted that Fortnite players can only claim the Twitch Prime loot on one platform, although, the content will be shared across PC, console, and mobile using the same Epic account. However, this is not the case for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 even if using the same Epic account.

Twitch Prime is a part of an Amazon Prime subscription with the benefits of ad-free viewing, free in-game loot monthly, and a free channel subscription every 30 days. On top of these, subscribers also get all benefits of the subscription to Amazon Prime.

Recent 'Fortnite' Update Brings Thanos

In related news, Fortnite just received an update introducing Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War. The Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup mode will include 100 players, only one of which will emerge as the victor.

Players can play as the villain and wield the Infinity Gauntlet in the slugfest, which will force other players to level up their game to take him down.

"Drop in Solo as you hunt for and fight over the Infinity Gauntlet," said Epic Games. "The first to equip the Gauntlet will transform into the mighty Thanos and wield the Gauntlet's power!"

The Fortnite developer further noted that only Rare, Epic, and Legendary weapons will appear on the map.

Aside from the crossover, the patch also brought some gameplay changes and bug fixes on the PC, console, and mobile versions. A small addition, the HackSAW, also makes its way to the Weekly Store in Save the World on top of performance improvements and bug fixes.

Fortnite is available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Mac.
