Pictionary isn't a complicated game. One person draws a picture, the other person has to guess what it is before time runs out. Jerry Seinfeld and Miranda Sings have trouble doing either in this clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, when the duo from Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee went up against Fallon and Martin Short.
First up is "mistletoe." Seems simple enough, right? Draw some leaves, two stick figures kissing and you're done. Miranda goes a different route when she draws one very detailed leaf and then becomes frustrated by Jerry's inability to guess what it is. Jerry later attempts to depict the phrase "foot in the door." Miranda can't seem to shake the idea that Jerry's foot drawing actually looks like a chicken (sort of.)
Not that Jimmy and Martin fare much better. Their first challenge is "hang glider." Jimmy draws a fairly simple yet effective stick man gliding through the sky, but Martin gets hung up and becomes convinced the answer is some phrase that contains the word "kite." Martin doesn't draw much better when it's his turn. For "Piggy Bank" the actor attempts to draw a pig but in actuality draws something that looks more akin to a fat Satan.
A round later and both teams are competing at the same time, as Martin and Miranda attempt to draw Mrs. Claus. Both fail miserably and the game ends in a tie.
It's all pretty amusing, though no doubt much of the game was intentionally played up for comedic effect. Nobody could seriously be that bad at Pictionary, right?
