Leave it to Marvel to put the "ease" in "teaser" as social media exploded effortlessly with positive first impressions for its upcoming movie.
We are talking about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, of course. Marvel invited the media for an exclusive first screening of the movie. The official reviews will be under wraps until April 24 though, so no spoilers or Easter eggs have been shared (like the Infinity War connection).
Nonetheless, social media is already abuzz with phrases like "new favorite," "a whole heap of fun," and "a ton of surprises." Here are some of the first reactions about the movie.
The Guardians' Adventure Continues
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. picks up where the first film ended. The motley crew of space warriors composed of Star-Lord (aka Peter Quill), Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Baby Groot, and Rocket Raccoon explores the cosmos to find the truth about Peter's parentage.
Most of the trailers showed the gang fighting monsters in the far reaches of space, although Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige hinted at some scenes showing a "little bit of Earth" in the film. The movie will show worldwide on May 5.

Jeff Sneider however feels that the first one is still better so he gives it 2.5 out of 4 stars.
Hate to be the Voice of Reason, but GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 isn't as good as the first. What felt fresh now feels forced. 2.5/4 stars — Jeff Sneider (@TheInSneider) April 18, 2017
Perri Nemiroff likewise loved the first movie more, but still calls Vol. 2 “super fun.”
Didn't love #GotGVol2 as much as the 1st but it's still super fun. Really enjoy spending time w/ this kooky family, especially Drax & Groot!
