T-Mobile's Free Pizza Is Back, Here's How To Get One

T-Mobile seems to be in a celebratory mood these days. This was just demonstrated when it announced Feb. 10 that it will be staging its biggest T-Mobile Tuesdays event ever by bringing back the wildly successful free pizzas to its subscribers.

Free Pizza For Subscribers

The decision to offer another free pizza event is driven by the move to commemorate Valentine's Day. As you well know, the holiday falls on a Tuesday, so it is quite a big deal for the self-proclaimed uncarrier. The carrier has a dedicated T-Mobile Tuesdays app where it doles out free stuff and treats every Tuesday as part of its rewards program.

For those expecting Domino's pizza, don't hold your breath. T-Mobile has tapped Papa John's this time as its partner. The change could be attributed to the fact that Domino's backed out of a similar event last June after getting overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the demand.

T-Mobile seems bent on ensuring that there is no shortage or any delay in the manner subscribers avail the freebie. This could mean that the carrier is also expecting massive response.

This is further underscored by the way the process has been tweaked so claims are more systematic. In the past, the free pizza had to be claimed Tuesdays only. Today, the code is valid for one week.

"While the carriers love to inflict pain on their customers, we just plain love our customers," John Legere, T-Mobile CEO, said. "We're throwing a pizza party all month long and giving away tons of FREE pizza. Why? Because 'thank you for being a T-Mobile customer.' That's why!"

How To Redeem T-Mobile's Freebie

Subscribers need to install the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. If you are using a rival network such as Verizon or AT&T, the app will be useless to you because it will require a T-Mobile number.

That being said, you need to check the app often because this is where T-Mobile is going to send you the free pizza code. If you finally got one, just head to Papa John's website and claim the reward.

One should note that the code is being sent out in random, so there is no way to tell if it is already your turn to get the pizza. If a code were sent to you and you and missed it, you are no longer entitled to another.

It appears, however, that if you have more T-Mobile numbers, you could snag more of free pies because you can create several T-Mobile Tuesdays accounts.

The promo will begin on Feb. 14 and will last for four weeks. When availing your free single-topping large or pan pizza online, Papa John will also offer you 25 percent less if you purchase another pizza or other products.

Reports indicate that T-Mobile is expected to give out thousands of pizzas. This is considered the most popular merchandise so far as T-Mobile also offers stuff like milk shakes, movie tickets. Lyft rides, and even gasoline in ordinary Tuesdays.
