Final Fantasy Brave Exvius jolted the video game community when it was revealed early this month that a character based on pop singer Ariana Grande will soon be added to the mobile title.
The Final Fantasy franchise has expanded its reach beyond video games, with the movie Kingsglaive released as a primer for Final Fantasy XV and Lightning of Final Fantasy XIII being tapped as a Louis Vuitton model.
The addition of an Ariana Grande character to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius now becomes the latest amalgam between the long-running series and pop culture.
How To Unlock Dangerous Ariana In Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Players who are interested in acquiring the Grande-based character for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will need to reach the point in the game that unlocks the Dimensional Vortex, which is a special area that allows players to have their teams made up of Final Fantasy characters to participate in special event battles to unlock prizes.
Upon launching the game, which has received an updated icon that features Grande herself, players entering the Dimensional Vortex will see the Dangerous Woman Tour event, with its name bearing the same one as the pop star's upcoming third concert tour.
To unlock Grande's character, aptly named "Dangerous Ariana," players will only need to play through the lowest tier battle in the Dangerous Woman Tour event. Players can even do so in Easy difficulty, which should make the task even simpler.
The stage features a fully orchestrated remix of Grande's song "Touch It," recorded specifically for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. And once it is completed, players will receive Dangerous Ariana as a reward through their in-game mailbox.
Players should not stop with the event after acquiring Dangerous Ariana though, as the special items required to unlock her final, six-star form can only be obtained through it.
"A beautiful singer from a distant world, whose goal is to bring love and grow peace in the realm," Dangerous Ariana's description reads. Players should not be fooled by the fact that the character is based on a real-world pop star and think she is just a gimmick though, as Dangerous Ariana is pretty powerful, especially with her "Touch It" limit break that is very effective at clearing out the boss battles at the latter part of the event.
Once Dangerous Ariana is unlocked, she will become a permanent member of the player's party. Players will only have until Feb. 2, the launch of Grande's Dangerous Woman Tour in real life, to acquire her Final Fantasy Brave Exvius character though, so interested players should not delay.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius For iOS And Android
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a free-to-play mobile game available to all iOS and Android devices. It was launched in June of last year as a turn-based role-playing game similar to most titles in the Final Fantasy franchise.
The main draw of the game is that parties can be made to contain characters from different Final Fantasy games, while retaining the ability to call upon familiar summon such as Ifrit and Shiva.
