Samsung has finally made available the Galaxy J3 Emerge, the successor of the Galaxy J3, in the United States for preorder.
The company quietly listed the smartphone on its website and the Galaxy J3 Emerge is believed to be a tweaked variant of Samsung's yet-to-be announced Galaxy J3 (2017).
Samsung's website listing reveals that the Galaxy J3 Emerge will be available for three U.S. carriers namely — Sprint, Boost Mobile, and Virgin Mobile. The entry-level handset has been priced at $234.99.
The handset from all the three carriers have the same specifications despite the rumor that the Sprint variant of the Galaxy J3 Emerge may boast of a different processor.
The unveiling of the Galaxy J3 Emerge does not come as a surprise, as in December 2016, reports surfaced that the Samsung smartphone could be released on Jan. 6, 2017. It was reported that the Galaxy J3 Emerge would be made available on Sprint, as well as the carrier's prepaid no-contract arms Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile.
The Galaxy J3 Emerge may have released a week later than rumored by leakster Evan Blass, but its arrival will still generate excitement among consumers looking for a budget offering.
