Verizon subscribers can prepare to get their hands on feature-packed smartphone at a good price in the form of Samsung Galaxy J3.
The carrier offers two variants of the device. The first is a Samsung Galaxy J3 V, sporting 16 GB of storage that can be purchased through Verizon's device payment plan, while the second is an 8 GB Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) prepaid smartphone. Both models operate using Verizon's 4G LTE network, which some say ranks first on overall network performance in the United States.
The Galaxy J3 (2016) and Galaxy J3 V show a good mix of power and design, fitting neatly into the hand or pocket of its user. The handsets are capable of providing smooth streaming, browsing and gaming, leveraging the processing power that comes from a 1.2 GHz Quad Core chipset.
The two devices feature 5.0-inch HD Super AMOLED screens able to render 1,280 x 720p resolutions.
Verizon points out that the phones can holster as much as 128 GB of storage space via microSD card expansion. This allows users to stack up on music, videos, photos, games and apps without feeling any pressure.
Keep in mind that the Galaxy J3 comes with Easy Mode, a way for users to optimize their interface. This means that your favorite contacts and most used apps can be distributed for optimal access from the get-go.
Both models of the device holster a decent camera combo. The front-facing sensor is a 2-megapixel shooter, which makes sure all the selfies are top-notch and ready for social media. The main camera from the rear sports 5-megapixels and a wide f/2.2 aperture, turning even low-light conditions into a perfect photo shoot.
The juice will flow thanks to a removable 2,600 mAh battery.
Verizon lets its clients purchase the Galaxy J3 V by paying a device fee of $7 per month for two years, while clients can get the Galaxy J3 (2016) by shelling out $109.99 with Verizon's prepaid plans.
As a reminder, the carrier offers three prepaid plans, so clients can choose which one suits their needs best.
The $30 per month gives limitless call and text, paired with Wi-Fi data, while the $45 per month brings unlimited call and texting and 1 GB of data. The most expensive plan costs a monthly $60, but offers endless call, texting and 3 GB of data to boot.
You can purchase the Galaxy J3 (2016) and Galaxy J3 V online today. Beginning June 23, the Galaxy J3 V will be available in brick and mortar stores, as well.
