Voter tells Obama not to touch his girlfriend, Obama does it anyway

President Obama visited Chicago on Monday to cast a ballot and campaign for Gov. Pat Quinn, who is running for re-election. It's your typical photo-op scene as the POTUS mingles with ordinary folks; that is until a man casually walks by and tells Obama, "Mr. President, don't touch my girlfriend."

That's when things get interesting. The man's fiance, Aia Cooper, was casting her ballot next to the president and was immediately mortified by the comment. You can check out the video below for the whole exchange, via CNN.

"I really wasn't planning on it," Obama replied as Cooper apologized. "Now there's an example of a brother just embarrassing me for no reason. Just for no reason. Now you're going to go home talking to your friends about this."

Cooper tells Obama she knew her boyfriend was going to say something "smart," but didn't know what. Thankfully, Obama played it cool.

"I can't believe Mike, he is such a fool," Obama said, imagining how Cooper might tell the story to her friends. "But fortunately, the President was nice about it, so it's alright,"

See, Obama wasn't planning on touching the man's girlfriend, but just because the man went and said something, Obama decided to do it out of spite. That's just how he rolls. After the two finished voting, he went up and gave Cooper a hug, followed by a kiss on the cheek.

"You're gonna kiss me, give him something to talk about," he said. "Now he's really jealous."

He certainly will have something to talk about, probably something along the lines of how he just got embarrassed by the president on national television.
