Michelle Obama does a 'Turn Down for What' parody while dancing with a turnip

The first lady has proved again that she has a good sense of humor. Michelle Obama posted a new Vine on Tuesday, proving she is still hip when it comes to her taste in music—and food.

During a Twitter #AsktheFirstLady Q&A for the "Let's Move!" campaign to promote healthy eating and an active lifestyle, the first lady responded to the famous President Barack Obama impersonator in a humorous 6-second Vine.

Using his impression of the President, YouTube star Iman Crosson, asked the first lady in a Vine," How many calories do you burn every time you 'turn up'?"

Made popular by the DJ Snake and Lil Jon song, "Turn Down for What," the phrase has become slang to describe partying, which includes "being wild" and "acting crazy," commonly linked to drugs and alcohol.

Michelle Obama humorously responded in her own 6-second Vine, bringing a new meaning to the pop culture phrase. Dancing with the root vegetable, FLOTUS asks, "Turnip for what?"

This is not the first time Michelle Obama has shown off her smooth moves for her campaign. She comically danced with Late Night host Jimmy Fallon in the "Evolution of Mom Dancing" in 2013 and danced to Beyoncé to promote her cause to battle childhood obesity.

Lil Jon released a new version of his song last week with the help from Rock the Vote. The remix, "Turn Out for What," was released to get young people to vote in upcoming elections.
