Although it's now August, there is still plenty of summertime left. That means users will need new content to download to their mobile devices to keep them entertained during plane and car trips or when hanging out while camping or at the beach.
While Pokémon GO and NBA Live Mobile were the top new downloaded games in July in the Google Play Store, there's a good chance Android gamers might be on the hunt for something new to play, too. Gamers will be happy to know that Square Enix's new title Mobius Final Fantasy will finally be released this month.
Since the music lip sync video app Musical.ly was one of the trending apps in July, users who enjoyed this title might want to also practice their freestyle skills by rapping with the new app RapChat.
Those who like to watch movies on their Android devices were all about downloading the original Ghostbusters and Bourne Identity titles before the new ones hit theaters, but August brings with it movies many have been wanting to see, such as the tearjerker Me Before You, the scary movie The Conjuring 2 and the Disney's live-action movie The Jungle Book.
Android users will also be able to download Game of Thrones season 6 and The Strain season 3 this month.
Even though July was all about the Indepen-dance Party playlist, new music includes the release of the soundtrack from Suicide Squad.
