U.S. carrier T-Mobile is offering discounts on various smartphones to celebrate July 4 this year.
The Galaxy S6 edge (32 GB), which has a regular price tag of $679.99, is now available at a discount of $200 from T-Mobile, which brings down the cost of the handset to $479.99.
The mobile phone can be taken on a zero percent finance, where customers have to pay $0 down and 24 equal installments of $20.
The Galaxy S7 edge (32 GB), which has a full retail price of $789.99, has been reduced to $739.99 — a discount of $50. Customers who want to buy the device will have to pay $19.99 down and then $30 per month for 24 months.
The Galaxy S7 edge is one of the hottest smartphones available on the market. The device sports a 5.5-inch screen with a display resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB of RAM power the Galaxy phone. It comes running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
iOS lovers also have a reason to be happy as T-Mobile has slashed the price of iPhone 5s (32 GB) on the network by $200. The retail price of the handset is $499.99, but as part of Independence Day sale customers can grab it for $299.99. Well-qualified customers can avail zero percent finance and pay $0 upfront and $12.50 for 24 months.
Customers who have a smaller budget should not be disappointed as T-Mobile is selling the LG K7 at a discount of $40, which brings down the price of the mobile phone from $139.99 to $99.99. Customers can pay $0 upfront and monthly payments of $4.17 for 24 months.
The LG K7 has a 5-inch screen with a display resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. A 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and 1.5 GB of RAM powers the LG offering. The handset comes with 8 GB of on-board storage, which is expandable to up to 32 GB with a microSD card.
The price of HTC's flagship smartphone of 2015 — the HTC One M9 — has also been reduced on T-Mobile. Previously, the carrier priced the HTC One M9 at $449.99, but as part of July 4 celebrations, the cost of the device has dropped to $299.99. Well-qualified customers can pay $0 down and $12.50 per month for 24 months under the zero percent scheme.
Although T-Mobile has not slashed the price of HTC One M9's successor — HTC 10 — its last year's flagship has impressive specs to entice customers looking for a brand new mobile phone.
The July 4 sale on T-Mobile handsets will be available only for a limited time, which means customers will have to rush if they want to take advantage of the price discounts.
