'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Season Pass Includes New Level And Character Packs

The Force is about to be awakened in LEGO land, and we are getting more details about what gamers can expect if they purchase a season pass for the game.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced on Thursday that the video game's season pass will allow players to unlock new levels that feature story-driven content, as well as new characters like Jar Jar Binks and other downloadable content.

The LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens season pass will come with three new Level Packs to extend the game's adventure. Each of the three levels enable the player to experience key events from the film, and include new content that was not seen in the movie.

The Level Packs include:

Poe's Quest for Survival Level Pack

• This level follows Poe Dameron's journey back to the Resistance base after being stranded on Jakku after escaping the First Order. In this level, Poe is on a mission to find BB-8 and find his way back home.

• Characters and vehicles in this level include: Naka Lit, Ohn Gos, Poe Dameron (Jakku), Strus Clan Leader, Strus Clan Raider, Strus Clan Speeder (Full-size Vehicle), Strus Clan Speeder (Microfighter Vehicle).

First Order Siege of Takodana Level Pack

• The player battles with Kylo Ren and the First Order in an attempt to capture Rey and BB-8 to put an end to the Resistance. The assault takes place on Maz Kanata's castle on Takodana.


• Characters and vehicles include: Jashco Phurus, Rosser Weno, Strono "Cookie" Tuggs, Thromba, Laparo, Jakku Freighter (Full-size Vehicle), Jakku Freighter (Microfighter Vehicle).

Escape from Starkiller Base Level Pack

• This level features a battle on the surface of Starkiller Base from the perspective of two Resistance pilots. The goal is to defeat the First Order and escape before the planet explodes.


• Characters and vehicles include: C'ai Threnalli, Colonel Datoo, Lieutenant Rodinon, Lt. Wright, R3-Z3, Assault Walker (Full-size Vehicle), Assault Walker (Microfighter Vehicle).

The season pass also includes five Character packs with heroes, villains and yes, even Droids, and features an exclusive pack you won't want to miss out on.

The exclusive Jedi Character Pack comes with the following characters and vehicles: Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, Luminara Unduli, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, Shaak Ti, Jedi Interceptor (Full-size Vehicle), Jedi Interceptor (Microfighter Vehicle). This season pass exclusive will be available on June 28.

The other four packs include various characters from the Star Wars Galaxy, including those from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith as part of The Prequel Trilogy Character Pack. These include: Anakin Skywalker, Captain Panaka, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, Jar Jar Binks and Padmé, just to name a few.

The Freemaker Adventures Character Pack features those from the Disney XD animated series like Roger the Battle Droid. From another Disney XD animated series come Ahsoka Tano, Chopper, Ezra Bridger, Hera Syndulla and more in the Star Wars: Rebels Character Pack.

Lastly, The Clones Wars Character Pack includes: Asajj Ventress, Aurra Sing, Barriss Offee, Cad Bane, Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Hondo Ohnaka, Savage Opress, Republic Gunship (Full-size Vehicle), Republic Gunship (Microfighter Vehicle).

The LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens season pass will cost $9.99 when it becomes available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC via Steam. The DLC Packs will also be available separately for $2.99 each.

Gamers can also pick up the Deluxe Edition of the game for PS4 and Xbox One, which comes with the season pass and The Empire Strikes Back Character Pack.

Developed by TT Games, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available on June 28 for PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Microsoft Windows.
