LEGO: Marvel's Avengers is already filled with hundreds of Marvel characters and tons to do, but it's about to get even bigger with upcoming DLC. Warner Bros. is finally detailing all of what will come included in each of the game's five add-on packs, and Marvel fans should be pleased.
Kicking things off on March 29 are two DLC packs: the Captain Marvel character and level pack and the Masters of Evil character and level pack. Each piece of DLC will include a new level for players to play through, as well as a number of additional characters and vehicles for use in free roam.
In the Captain Marvel pack, players will be able to play as Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel's Skycycle, Helen Cobb's Plane, Kang the Conqueror, Magnitron, Moonstone, Poundcakes, Tic, Warbird and Wonder Man.
In The Masters of Evil pack, players will be able to play as Baron Zemo, Black Knight (Dane Whitman), Black Knight (Nathan Garrett), Enchantress, Executioner, Iron Man (Classic), Melter, Radioactive Man, Thor (Classic), Valinor and Whirlwind.
Coming in the spring will be three additional character and level packs, with release states still to be determined.
The Classic Black Panther pack will include a new level as characters Aragorn, Black Knight (Augustine du Lac), Black Panther, Black Panther Skybike, Dora Milaje Warrior, Killmonger, Man-Ape (M'Baku), Shuri, Ulysses Klaw (Classic) and White Wolf.
The All-New, All-Different Doctor Strange pack will include a new level as well as characters Baron Mordo, Clea, Doctor Strange, Doctor Voodoo, Dormammu, Jennifer Kale, Mindless One Warrior and Night Nurse.
Last but certainly not least is the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. level and character pack, based on the ABC TV show. That pack will includes characters Daisy Johnson, Leo Fitz, Koenig, Melinda May, Bobbi Morse, Jemma Simmons, Cal Johnson/Mr. Hyde, Deathlok, Gordon, Grant Ward, Jiaying, Lincoln, Raina and the Bus.
In addition to all of the above, those who purchase the game's $9.99 season pass also get immediate access to three character packs, including the Avengers Explorer Pack, the Avengers Adventurer Pack and the Thunderbolts pack.
That's a whole lot of extra content coming soon, and it should give players yet another reason to dive into LEGO: Marvel's Avengers. We enjoyed our time with the game, even if it didn't break much from the established LEGO game formula. You can read our full review of LEGO: Marvel's Avengers here.
