AT&T has just announced that it will begin offering Samsung's ultrathin Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4. The carrier will kick off preorders on Sept. 17.
Samsung set out to own the smartphone market and succeeded with its unending quest to make a smartphone for everyone. The company is well-known for flooding the market with low-end, midrange and flagship devices. For instance, 2013's flagship Galaxy S4 had a family of devices -- Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 LTE-A, Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom, and Galaxy S4 Mini.
Since Samsung achieved its goal with its smartphone plan, the company announced last year that it was going to put more focus on its tablet lineup, and it has certainly followed up on that promise. The company has already released over nine different tablets in 2014 and its latest high-end Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 are headed to AT&T.
AT&T has announced that it will begin taking preorders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 on Sept. 17. While supplies last, customers who purchase the tablets will save 50 percent on the purchase of a matching official Samsung Tab S keyboard.
AT&T has provided a rundown of some of the excellent features included with each of the tablets:
Immersive viewing experience: The Galaxy Tab S offers a wider color range, deeper contrast, and adaptive display technology for an improved, high-definition viewing experience.
Slim Profile: The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 weighs 1.03 lbs, and the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 weighs just 0.45 lbs, making either size comfortable to hold while you watch your favorite shows or read magazines via Papergarden. Both versions are 0.26 inches thin.
Speedy Processor: With an Exynos 5 Octa Core processor and 3 GB of RAM5 you can maximize either tablets' Multi Window feature by watching a music video and checking the lyrics on your web browser at the same time.
Finger Scanner Security: Unlock your tablet with your unique fingerprint. In multiuser mode, your fingerprint even unlocks your user profile and personalized settings.
