Verizon recently announced it would be the first carrier in the U.S. to offer the HTC 10. Sprint has just announced it will begin selling the HTC 10 on May 13 for $0 down and $26 per month for 24 months and the handset will run on its faster LTE Plus network.
HTC's 2016 flagship smartphones, the HTC 10 has been receiving favorable reviews from the tech community and fans of the company's handsets in the U.S. are waiting to get their hands on the new device.
Verizon has already confirmed that it will be the first U.S. carrier to offer the HTC 10 and has just begun taking preorders for the smartphone through its online store.
Now, Sprint has become the latest U.S. carrier to announce its HTC 10 launch plans. The HTC 10 will go on sale on May 13 and it will run on Sprint's faster LTE Plus network.
The HTC 10 features an updated chamfered edge metal design and uses a 5.2-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 and its pixel density is 565 pixels per inch (ppi), and It uses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB of RAM found in the LG G5, Samsung Galaxy S7, and S7 edge. It also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and HTC Sense 8.0, which the company has toned down and made the skin appear and function more like stock Android.
Users will find 32 GB of internal storage and can increase it via the smartphone's microSD expansion slot. HTC promised the handset would feature "World First, World Class, Front and Back" cameras and it delivered a 12-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization), dual-LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, selfies, and capturing 1080p videos.
HTC has introduced updated HTC BoomSound speakers for the HTC 10, embedded a fingerprint scanner into its home button, and ships with a large 3,000 mAh non-removable battery that supports Quick Charge3.0 and will provide up to 27 hours of talk time and 456 hours of standby time.
Sprint's HTC 10 comes with the ability to access the carrier's advanced LTE Plus network and explains what it means for customers:

The Sprint HTC 10 will go on sale on May 13 through the carrier's online store and retail stores and has been priced at $0 down and $26 per month for 24 months.
