If the high price of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7 scared you off so far, you can now get it at just $599.99 on eBay.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is one of the hottest smartphones currently available on the market, and Consumer Reports even deemed it as the best smartphone ever. Those who don't want to get locked into a contract or get it in installments from a carrier, however, might be intimidated by the hefty price tag for the unlocked model.
A new eBay deal, however, now offers the Exynos-powered version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 at a notable discount, selling the smartphone for just $599.99 for the 32 GB configuration. That's at least $100 cheaper than other attractive offers for the off-contract Galaxy S7 powered by a Snapdragon processor.
If you're worried about the Exynos version faring worse than the Snapdragon, rest assured that it's not the case. Previous tests have concluded that the Exynos processor is actually faster than the Snapdragon one, so this Galaxy S7 offer is a pretty sweet deal.
It's worth pointing out that the Exynos-powered Galaxy S7 on offer now on eBay is the GSM model. This means that it will play nice with AT&T, T-Mobile or any other GSM carrier, but not with CDMA networks such as Verizon, Sprint or US Cellular.
At the same time, this model of the Galaxy S7 is dual-SIM, but only one SIM will work for both data and calls – the second SIM supports only calls.
This variant of the Galaxy S7 (SM-G930FD) comes with free shipping in the U.S., but those ordering from outside the country will have to pay extra for shipping.
On the downside, however, there are a couple of drawbacks to this offer: the $599.99 Exynos-powered Galaxy S7 does not have a U.S. warranty, and does not support Samsung Pay. Head over to the eBay deal in question to learn more about this offer and decide if it's a good deal for you.
Alternately, Newegg is also selling the Black Onyx and Platinum Gold versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7 (GSM-only) at the same $599.99 price point, as part of a limited-time deal.
Both the eBay and Newegg deals will expire shortly. The eBay seller has only limited quantities available, while the Newegg offer is good until Apr. 9.
