'Fallout 4' Automatron Eyebot Pods: What They Do, Crafting Guide And How To Use Them

The Fallout 4 DLC Automatron didn't only come with a slew of new weapons and robots but also structures, and one of those called the Eyebot Pod is pretty handy.

What Does An Eyebot Do?

Going straight to the point, an Eyebot can gather components, ammo and explosives in the Wasteland for the settler. After some time, it'll bring whatever items that the player set it out to collect to a certain location, which can be found thanks to a Miscellaneous quest. Talk about great service.

At any rate, it would be a shame not to take advantage of these robots, as they can be really useful in keeping supplies up.

How To Craft An Eyebot Pod

The schematics for the Eyebot Pod can be found in the Mechanist's Lair, right after the final mission of Automatron dubbed Restoring Order. Here's a step-by-step guide to get ahold of it:

Step 1: Finish the main storyline of the DLC first.

Step 2: Head on over to the Mechanist's Lair.

Step 3: Go to the raised area that's full of robots and computers and continue through it.

Step 4: Turn right in the hallway once you get past the room of robots, and on your right, you'll find the room of Isabel Cruz - otherwise known as The Mechanist.

Step 5: There, you should see a table on the left that has the Eyebot Pod schematics on it.

Once that's done, go to an outdoor settlement to build the Eyebot Pod. It's listed under the Special category in the crafting menu.

Here's a quick breakdown of the required materials to set it up:

2 Copper

4 Circuitry

6 Aluminum

2 Fiber Optics

2 Nuclear Material

Note: It needs to be connected to a generator and requires 6 Energy to run.

To use it, simply access the terminal and designate what the Eyebot should search for.
