WrestleMania 32 weekend is upon us!
After months of being hyped and heavily promoted, including WWE superstars making some 900-plus media appearances this week alone, the "Show of Shows" is just over 48 hours away, with an action-packed card consisting of four Kickoff preview bouts and seven matches as part of the live pay-per-view.
While we can't wait to see Shane McMahon vs. the Undertaker in their Hell in a Cell match, the total card has plenty of must-see matches. Here, we go match-by-match and predict all the winners. For the 100,000-plus fans expected to fill AT&T Stadium and the many more watching at home, are ... you ... ready?
Kickoff
The Usos vs. The Dudley Boyz in Tag Team Grudge Match
WWE has done a great job adding heat to this rivalry week-in and week-out, leading up to the "Show of Shows," with the Usos looking to prove they're every bit as physical and badass as one of the greatest tag teams to ever step foot in the squared circle — the Dudley Boyz. The company is calling this a Grudge Match, and we like the chances of somebody going through a table or two. That being said, as upstart and good as the Usos are, it's hard to pick against the lords of the tables.
Winner: The Dudley Boyz
The Total Divas vs. B.A.D. & Blonde
While Lana's presence in this match is intriguing and we bet it spells some unique moments, the Total Divas should be able to get the "W." Just circle them in for some weird chemistry issues along the way, especially surrounding Eva Marie.
Winner: The Total Divas
Kalisto (champion) vs. Ryback in United States Title Match
Ryback has been coming on strong in recent weeks on Monday Night Raw. Then again, Kalisto looked pretty sharp in his tune-up match against Konnor earlier this week, too. Is it just us, or do you see Ryback snapping in the worst way and turning heel to generate more heat with his character? We see him doing just that and leaving with the U.S. title in tow.
Winner: Ryback
The Third-Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The third-annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal features the likes of Kane, Mark Henry, Tyler Breeze and last year's winner, the Big Show. While we see Curtis Axel making a deeper run than expected, we wouldn't be surprised to see WWE give the nod of respect to Kane for his longevity — just like they did with Show last year — and have him outlast his 15 competitors.
Winner: Kane
WrestleMania 32 Pay-Per-View
Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles
The mutual respect is done between these two. After AJ Styles' phenomenal debut at Royal Rumble back in January, the two superstars split a pair of matches on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, before Styles had his hand raised in the rubber match at Fastlane. Now, they're on the "Grandest Stage of Them All" for what WWE is dubbing a "dream match."
As amazing as the "Phenomenal One" can be — and we fully expect him to deliver some amazing highlights — for whatever reason, we see Y2J finding a way to victory.
Winner: Chris Jericho
Kevin Owens (champion) vs. Sami Zayn vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder vs. Sin Cara vs. The Miz vs. Stardust in Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Title
Kevin Owens' run in WWE has been stellar, from his heated feud with John Cena to his current reign as Intercontinental champion. However, can he outlast the likes of Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder, Sin Cara, the Miz and Stardust? We see KO bringing the fight, especially to Zayn, but Ziggler leaving as the newly-crowned IC champ.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
The New Day vs. The League of Nations
So, the rumor floating around is the Rock will even things up for the New Day when they take on the League of Nations' four-man faction consisting of Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Rusev and King Barrett. We more than like that rumor to come to fruition because it's simply more believable than the Rock interfering in the Shane McMahon vs. Undertaker Hell in a Cell match or the Triple H vs. Roman Reigns World Heavyweight title match, only to not return to the company long-term.
The sheer entertainment value of the New Day alongside the Rock will be amazing to watch ... unless you're the League of Nations.
Winner: The New Day
Charlotte (champion) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks in Triple Threat Match for Divas Title
As great as Charlotte as been as the Divas champion, we see Sasha Banks shining on the "Grandest Stage of Them All," and here's why. A day before WrestleMania 32, Snoop Dogg will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Snoop is also the first cousin of the "Boss" Sasha Banks. See where we're going here? A little assist from Snoop to even the odds with Ric Flair, who will be in Charlotte's corner, and Sasha could leave AT&T Stadium as the new Divas champ.
Winner: Sasha Banks
Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar in No Holds Barred Street Fight
The "Lunatic Fringe" will bring his bag of tricks — including the barbed-wire bat and chainsaw that Mick Foley and Terry Funk gifted him with — into play against the "Beast" Brock Lesnar in a no holds barred street fight. While we see Dean Ambrose pushing Brock to the limit and the match being a dark horse pick as the match of the night, we just can't fathom the "Lunatic Fringe" overcoming the brute force of Brock.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell Match
Shane McMahon gave the WWE Universe a taste of how extreme he's willing to get in his Hell in a Cell match with the Undertaker by leaping off the top turnbuckle and elbow smashing the Dead Man through a table on Monday Night Raw.
Dare we say it, but we're going to go out on a limb and say Shane just might put himself through more abuse than Mankind did in his notorious Hell in a Cell match with the Undertaker. We see Shane-O-Mac falling off the most destructive structure in sports entertainment and dropped through it, stopping at nothing to use his body as a weapon.
While we know Shane will rack up more of the water cooler discussion highlights in taking the Undertaker to the limit, the Dead Man is the Phenom for a reason. So, you can say Shane wins over the WWE Universe's hearts more than captures their imagination by putting his body on the line recklessly ... but Taker has his hand raised.
Winner: The Undertaker
Triple H (champion) vs. Roman Reigns in World Heavyweight Title Match
What first may have been a letdown on paper was built up pretty well, with WWE dousing the fiery Triple H vs. Roman Reigns feud with gasoline week-to-week on Raw. The highlights the past few weeks have included Reigns savagely attacking Triple H, sending him to the hospital to get his head stapled, only for the Game to return and use the Dudley Boyz as decoys to ambush Reigns this past Monday night.
The company is doing its best to make this a modern-day Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon feud, and it should result in quite the match. While we wonder if the Rock will help Reigns out, we think Roman taking back his title would be a great way to allow this feud to continue. It's just hard to bet against Triple H on the "Grandest Stage of Them All."
Winner: Roman Reigns ... just barely.
