A slew of video games for Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Microsoft Xbox One have already hit the shelves and many more are to be released this year.
Here is a list of some games that are scheduled for an April release on Xbox One, PS4 or both the gaming consoles:
RBI Baseball 2016, a baseball video game developed by Namco and published by Tengen, will be released for Xbox One and PS4 on April 5.
Quantum Break, an action-adventure third-person shooter video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios, will be released on April 5 for Xbox One.
Dirt Rally, developed and published by Codemasters, will be released on April 5 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Dark Souls 3 is an action role-playing video game to be released on April 12. The game will be available for Xbox One and PS4 on the same day. FromSoftware is the game developer and Bandai Namco Entertainment is the game publisher.
Lichdom: Battlemage, a first-person action role-playing game developed by Xaviant and published by Maximum Games, will release for PS4 and Xbox One on April 19.
Assetto Corsa is a sim racing video game, developed by Kunos Simulazioni. The game will release on PS4 and Xbox One on April 19.
Tales from the Borderlands (Disc), an episodic point-and-click graphic adventure video game based on the Borderlands series. The game has five episodes and game developer Telltale Games has announced that a disc with all episodes will be released for Xbox One and PS4 on April 26.
The Walking Dead: Michonne, is another episodic interactive drama graphic adventure game from Telltale Games. Episode 3 - "What We Deserve" is scheduled for an April release for both the gaming consoles.
Ratchet & Clank, a series of science fiction action-oriented platformer video games, published by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by Insomniac Games will hit the shelves on April 12 for PS4.
Invisible, Inc. is a turn-based tactics, stealth video game, developed by Canadian independent Klei Entertainment. The game will be available for PS4 on April 19.
Dungeons 2 is a strategy video game that has been developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media. The game will be available for PS4 sometime in April this year.
Dead Star, a multiplayer space combat game by Armature Studio, is coming exclusively to PS4 on April 5.
