The next season of Netflix's Daredevil series is less than a month away, but the wait is going to feel like a long one. A new trailer dropped for the show recently and it highlights all of the drama to come between Matt Murdock and Frank Castle, aka the Punisher.
So what is a Daredevil fan to do in the coming weeks before the show's return? The answer, of course, is to watch the new trailer in as many shapes and forms as possible, starting with this recreation in Fallout 4.
It's a pretty spot on remake, filled with guns, explosions and dialogue ripped straight from the trailer. Daredevil's costume doesn't quite look like it does on the show, but other than that it follows the official trailer closely. Each of the main characters from the show have been painstakingly recreated in-game using Fallout's powerful character creation engine. Judging from how spot on each character looks, we're guessing creator UpIsNotJump spent more than a few hours perfecting each character's look.
It's enough to make you want an actual Daredevil video game. We've already dreamed of what our ultimate Daredevil game would look like, but since that doesn't appear to be coming anytime soon, fans might have to rely on using other game's to recreate the adventures of the Man Without Fear.
Come to think of it, it would be fun to try making a Daredevil-esque character in Fallout 4. To compensate for the hero's blindness, players could avoid putting points in Perception and then specialize in melee weapons and stealth. Alternatively, playing as a Punisher type of character wouldn't be hard either. Just find a black trenchcoat and invest in any and every perk that specializes in guns.
Finding new ways to create characters and roleplay is what gives a game like Fallout 4 so much replayability. That and mods, of course. More than a few were used to recreate the Daredevil trailer, including mods for a black vaultsuit, darker security armor, circular glasses, mods for expanded settlements and more. See if you can spot some of the mods being used in the trailer below.
Daredevil season two arrives on Netflix March 18.
