Verizon's gadget deal brings discounts on iPad, iPhone ad more, when purchased on a contract.
Two-year contracts may sound lengthy to some customers. However, customers who are willing to take up a two-year contract from Verizon can save money on the iPad Pro, iPhone 6 Plus and the LG V10.
iPad Pro
iPads are one of the most-popular tablets available in the market. Apple launched the iPad Pro on Sept. 9, 2015 and the company claims that it is the most powerful and advanced iPad they have ever created.
The iPad Pro has top-notch features but it also has a premium price tag attached to it. The 32 GB model costs $799, 128 GB Wi-Fi only version is priced at $949 and customers have to splash $1079 if they want to buy 128 GB Wi-Fi and cellular version of the iPad Pro.
However, customers can get a discount of $200 if they purchase the 128 GB Wi-Fi and cellular model of the iPad Pro from Verizon on a two-year contract. Customers should note that they will have to pay $40 activation charge if they purchase the Wi-Fi and cellular iteration of the iPad Pro from Verizon.
It is also worth noting that Verizon will charge customers $175 as early termination fee if customers want to end the contract before two-years.
iPhone 6 Plus
The iPhone 6 Plus was the first big-sized smartphone launched by Apple in September 2014. It may not include latest features as found in the iPhone 6s Plus but it still gives competition to many other handsets in its category.
The off-contract price of the Apple mobile phone on Verizon is $649.99 (16 GB), $749.99 (64 GB) and $849.99 (128GB). Customers can get a discount of $100 (only on 16 GB and 64 GB models) if they purchase the phone from Verizon on a two-year contract.
Customers can pay $0 down and then $22.91 each month for 24 months, which equates to $549.99 (16 GB) a saving of $100. Those who want 64 GB version of the iPhone 6 Plus will pay $0 down and 24 equal monthly instalments of $27.08, which will bring down the price to $649.99.
The $100 price reduction is available only on the gold color option of the phone.
LG V10
LG launched the LG V10 in September 2015 and it made it way to the shelves in October 2015. The phone is very similar to the LG G4 but it has a bigger screen, fingerprint scanner and a secondary screen.
The LG smartphone has a retail price of $672 if taken off-contract from Verizon. However, customers can pay $0 down followed by 24 equal instalments of $23.83, which will bring down the cost of the LG V10 to $572.
Customers can buy the white or the black versions of the phone to qualify for the $100 discount. However, the discount is available only on online purchases.
