The Witcher 3 proved to be one of the biggest games of 2015, and now, Dark Horse is looking to bring the characters from the game to life in a new line of collectibles set to debut later this year.
Dark Horse Deluxe will be looking at the world of The Witcher to create statues, busts, action figures, props and much more from CD Projekt Red's award-winning open-world RPG. First up will be statues of Geralt, Triss and Ciri, set to release this fall for $29.99. After that, statues for Yennefer and King Eredin of the Wild Hunt will arrive, with more collectibles to come after.
"Wild Hunt fans requested figures of Geralt, Ciri, Yen, and other collectibles multiple times, and now, thanks to this cooperation, we're finally able to fulfill these requests without putting an arm and a leg on the price tag," Rafał Jaki, business development manager for CD Projekt RED, says in a press release. "I truly hope Witcher fans notice all the love and the excellent craftsmanship put into creating them!"
This isn't the first time CD Projekt Red has partnered with Dark Horse. In addition to the upcoming collectibles, the two have worked together for two Witcher comic mini-series as well as the bestselling The World of the Witcher art book.
"Although Dark Horse has been bringing Witcher forward as graphic novels and art books for a couple of years, we have only begun exploring Geralt of Rivia's world," David Scroggy, Dark Horse's VP of Product Development says. "And there is quite a world to explore! We are developing a variety of collectible products, in conjunction with the team at CD Projekt RED, with the initial launch of figures as the portal."
You can check out a preview of the Geralt statue below. Unfortunately, there aren't any images of the other products at this time, but fans can except a similar level of detail in each of the upcoming statues.
