Those familiar with Conan O'Brien's nightly show know about his recurring feature, entitled Clueless Gamer, where the late-night host taps his thumbs to the newest video game titles, usually with the help of a celebrity or two educating him along the way.
Well, with Super Bowl Sunday just hours away, O'Brien hosted a special Super Bowl Edition of his Clueless Gamer feature Thursday night, which had him playing the new Doom with Carolina Panthers star cornerback Josh Norman and Denver Broncos star linebacker Von Miller.
"You made my 12-year-old daughter cry. How do you sleep at night?" O'Brien hilariously asks Miller in the clip, in reference to the linebacker sacking New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady nearly two weeks ago during the AFC title game.
"Oh man. It's just a game at the end of the day," Miller said in return.
"It's not just a game!" O'Brien screamed. "It's everything!"
That being said, the trio got into a good groove obliterating enemies in Doom, before O'Brien suddenly announced that he needed someone to sub for him because he's not too good of a gamer.
That "sub" happened to be none other than Marshawn Lynch, bruising Seattle Seahawks running back and avid gamer, even appearing as himself in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
"Beastmode" instantly took over the gaming session, destroying any- and everything in his path, sort of like how he plays football.
Conan even had a wine break, pouring out glasses to the star football players.
When it was all said and done, though, Norman walked away from the gaming session with a trophy, having survived longer in the game than Miller.
The reboot of the Doom franchise is slated for a May 13 release for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
