Jump from building to building as Night Wing, or explore Gotham's dark alleys as Batgirl or Red Hood. That's exactly what this newly discovered glitch in Batman: Arkham Knight for consoles will allow you to do, but getting it to work can be a challenge.
A YouTuber upoaded a video of the glitch in action at Batman Arkham Videos. Called “Corner Cover Zipping,” the glitch allows players on PS4 and Xbox One to roam freely as any of the other characters in the game.
Unfortunately, once you're in free roam, you can't do much else, according to players who have accessed the glitch. Enemies will no longer come at you and you can't enter buildings anymore either.
Nevertheless, it should be quite an experience to prowl the streets of Gotham as another character. To check it out for yourself, follow the steps outlined in the video below.
First of all, Corner Cover Zipping can only be achieved in certain Predator AR Challenges, namely Deconstruction, Under the Pale Moonlight, and Terminal Velocity.
Each challenge has a specific spot where the Corner Cover Zip glitch can be activated. From here, choose a projectile gadget for the character you are playing: the Batarang for Batman, Batgirl, and Azrael; the Bolas for Catwoman; the Flash Bang Grenade for Red Hood; Laughing Gas for Harley Quinn; the Escrima Stick for Nightwing; and the Shuriken for Robin.
Here's where you'll need some finger dexterity and good timing.
Aim and throw the projectile weapon and when the animation starts, either press Square if you're on a PS4 or X if you're playing on an Xbox One – this will cancel the movement so the object will no longer be thrown. But before the character on screen gets up from their crouch position, aim again and this time move left or forward with the left analog stick, allowing your character to remain in a crouch but away from the wall.
Continue to hold the aim button and the left analog stick in place and throw the projectile.
If you did all of these steps right, you'll be pushed to a certain area of the map where you will be able to freely roam through blue walls and other obstacles in your way.
It may take a bit of practice and trial-and-error to get the timing of the movements just right, but with a bit of patience, you'll be able to successfully activate the glitch.
