If you thought two separate teasers for two separate trailers were way more than anyone ever asked for, well ... at least the latest Deadpool teaser has a few seconds of new footage!
That's right: as the final piece of the "Twelve Days of Deadpool" before the second official trailer hits, 20th Century Fox has released yet another teaser for Ryan Reynolds' upcoming superhero action flick. It may sound a bit like overkill — admittedly, it is — but at the very least, the trailer manages to simplify Deadpool's bizarre backstory for anyone who isn't well-versed in the Merc with a Mouth's long history.
As an added bonus, it's all topped off with a Christmas-themed rhyming scheme!
While there isn't much in terms of new footage or plot details (the whole thing is only 30 seconds long, and Fox wasn't about to ruin tomorrow's trailer), fans can still catch a few glimpses of the film's expanded cast. Long story short, if you were hoping to get a better look at Colossus, you're in luck:
If the trailer proves anything, it's that the editing team over at 20th Century Fox really loves that "brown pants" line.
The teaser itself might not be much on its own, but a little Hugh Jackman makes everything better: while no one knows if Wolverine will have a cameo alongside Colossus and Negasonic, Jackman himself helped spread a little holiday cheer by sharing the trailer on Twitter:
No go @VancityReynolds - the 11th day is #Wolverine's https://t.co/Qx0HAwRj2i #Snikt #12DaysOfDeadpool pic.twitter.com/QEpfU4vyge

Let's just hope that Jackman's Deadpool cameo isn't limited to a single pre-release picture of his hand ...
The second official Deadpool trailer is due out on Christmas Day (aka tomorrow), while the movie itself is set to debut on Feb. 12, 2016.
